Medical public services in Romania

Foreign citizens and stateless persons who flee Ukraine via/in Romania and who do not apply for a form of protection covered by the Romanian legislation on asylum can benefit during the temporary stay in Romania of free primary medical aid and treatment, free emergency medical aid, free medical aid and treatment for acute or chronical life-threatening illnesses, as well as the right to be included in Romanian national public health programs aimed at the prevention, surveillance and control of communicable diseases in situations of epidemiological risk.
